Ingredients
Method
Prep the snack components
- Wash and cut the mixed fruit into bite-sized chunks, keeping pieces similar in size for even bites.
- Cut the carrot and cucumber into sticks so they’re easy for small hands to grab.
Build and plate
- Thread the fruit onto wooden skewers if desired, leaving space between pieces so they’re easy to eat.
- Arrange the cheese cubes, veggie sticks, and fruit skewers on a platter for a kid-friendly variety board.
- Serve with hummus or ranch dip on the side so kids can choose their favorite.
Notes
Pro tip: prep all components in bulk on Sunday and store separately in airtight containers so everything stays crisp and portion-controlled. Refrigerate assembled components for up to 3 days; freeze is not recommended because fruit and veggies change texture. For a dairy-light swap, use cheddar-style reduced-fat cheese cubes or a non-dairy yogurt dip instead of ranch.
