Shake the espresso
- Add espresso shots, apple syrup, and cinnamon to a cocktail shaker. Fill the shaker with ice.
- Shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds, until frothy and well chilled. Keep the shaker moving to build foam.
Assemble and serve
- Fill a glass with fresh ice. Strain the shaken espresso mixture over the ice.
- Top with a splash of oatmilk. Pour lightly so the foam stays visible.
- Stir gently before serving. Serve immediately for the best frothy texture.
Notes
Pro tip: shake hard and fast so the drink turns uniformly frothy before it hits the glass. Refrigerate any leftover espresso mixture in a sealed container for up to 24 hours, then shake again briefly with a fresh handful of ice and strain; add oatmilk right before serving. Freezing isn’t recommended because the foam and oatmilk texture break down. If you want it dairy-free, this recipe already is; for lower sweetness, reduce apple syrup to 1 tbsp while keeping cinnamon the same.
