Ingredients

  • 4 sandwich bread slices
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 0.33 cup cranberry sauce
  • 8 oz turkey cooked leftover, thinly sliced or shredded
  • 2 lettuce leaves

Method

  1. Spread the mayonnaise evenly over 2 slices of bread.
  2. Spread the cranberry sauce on the remaining 2 slices.
  3. Divide the turkey and lettuce between the cranberry-covered slices.
  4. Close the sandwiches with the mayonnaise-spread bread.
  5. Cut the sandwiches in half and serve.

Notes

For the best texture, assemble just before serving; store leftover turkey and cranberry sauce separately in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Freezing the assembled sandwiches is not recommended. Use whole-grain bread for a higher-fiber swap.
