Ingredients

Slider rolls and filling
  • 12 slider rolls
  • 2 cup leftover turkey, sliced
  • 1 cup leftover stuffing
  • 0.5 cup cranberry sauce
  • 6 Swiss cheese slices
  • 0.25 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp dried onion flakes

Equipment

  • 1 sheet pan

Method

Bake the sliders
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F, and set a sheet pan in the middle rack so it heats evenly.
  2. Layer the bottom rolls with turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and Swiss cheese.
  3. Place the tops on the sliders so the filling is enclosed and bakes together.
  4. Brush the tops with butter mixed with Dijon mustard and dried onion flakes for a browned, savory finish.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes at 350°F until the cheese melts and the rolls are hot throughout; cover with foil for the first 10 minutes if they are browning too quickly.

Notes

Pro tip: Slice turkey thin so it heats through in the short bake time, and press the rolls together lightly before baking so the filling stays put. Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days; reheat in a 325°F oven until warmed through. Freezing isn’t recommended because the rolls can soften and the stuffing may dry out. For a gluten-free swap, use gluten-free slider rolls and confirm your stuffing is gluten-free.
