Ingredients

Mini bagel pizzas
  • 6 mini bagels, halved Use plain or everything bagels.
  • 1 cup marinara or pizza sauce Choose regular or low-sugar sauce.
  • 2 cup shredded mozzarella Use whole milk mozzarella for best melt.
  • 0.5 pepperoni slices, mini meatballs, or other toppings, optional Optional toppings such as pepperoni, mini meatballs, or veggies.
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning For an herby finish over the cheese.

Equipment

  • 1 sheet pan

Method

Prep and assemble
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line a sheet pan with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. Arrange the bagel halves cut side up on the sheet pan so they toast evenly.
  3. Spread about 1–2 tbsp marinara sauce over each bagel half to create a pizza base.
  4. Top each bagel half generously with shredded mozzarella so the cheese covers the sauce.
  5. Add pepperoni slices, mini meatballs, or other toppings as desired to customize each mini pizza.
  6. Sprinkle evenly with Italian seasoning for classic pizza flavor.
Bake
  1. Bake at 400°F for 8–10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges look lightly toasted.
  2. Serve immediately while the mozzarella is still hot and stretchy.

Notes

Pro tip: For a crispier base, toast the bagel halves for 1–2 minutes before topping, then proceed with sauce, cheese, and toppings. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days; reheat on a sheet pan at 350°F until warmed through. Freezing isn’t recommended because bagels can soften after thawing. For a lighter option, use part-skim mozzarella and turkey pepperoni if using meat toppings.
