Ingredients

Pumpkin spice latte (espresso + pumpkin sauce)
  • 2 shot espresso Pull fresh shots for best flavor.
  • 1 cup steamed milk Steam until frothy for a latte texture.
  • 2 tbsp pumpkin sauce Use prepared pumpkin sauce or homemade syrup.
  • 0.5 tsp pumpkin pie spice Use in the drink and for finishing.
  • 1 whipped cream For topping; add after pouring.
  • 1 caramel drizzle For topping; warm drizzle is easier to spread.

Equipment

  • 1 espresso machine

Method

Make the latte
  1. Pull two shots of espresso into a mug.
  2. Stir in the pumpkin sauce and pumpkin pie spice.
  3. Steam the milk until frothy, aiming for about 150°F, then pour over the espresso mixture.
  4. Top with whipped cream and a caramel drizzle.
  5. Sprinkle with extra pumpkin pie spice before serving.

Notes

For a dairy-free option, use oat milk and steam it until similarly frothy. If you’re using homemade pumpkin sauce, it can be less sweet than store-bought syrup. Best fresh—make the latte immediately; do not freeze, and store leftover components separately in the fridge up to 2 days.
