Method
Build the cracker stacks
- Fold or roll the deli turkey slices into small squares to fit the whole grain crackers, so each stack holds together neatly.
- Cut the sharp cheddar into squares slightly smaller than the crackers for clean layering that won’t overhang.
- Layer a whole grain cracker, a cheese square, and a turkey square, repeating to build several stacks.
Pack and store
- Arrange the turkey-and-cheese crackers in one compartment of a lunchbox or container, keeping stacks upright.
- Fill remaining compartments with grapes, carrot sticks, and red bell pepper strips for balanced crunch in every bite.
- Store in the refrigerator until ready to pack or serve to keep the cheese fresh.
Notes
Pro tip: Cut cheese and turkey to the same size as the crackers so the stacks stay tidy and don’t slide. Refrigerate in a sealed container up to 3 days (best same-day texture for crackers). Freezing isn’t recommended because crackers and fresh produce lose their crunch. For a lighter swap, use reduced-fat cheddar while keeping the same layering method.
